Dancers Skipper Boy is the first stallion we've had here. He is a sorrel breeding stock paint with two hind socks and a blaze. He stands at around 14.2 with a very muscular build especially around his neck and shoulders. Before we brought Danny home, he did sire a sweet little bay/grey filly out of a grade mare, but we really don't have much information on her, but he will have two registered foals on the ground this spring. Check back then to see what he throws!
Danny Boy is such a sweetheart. He is easy to handle, not pushy or aggressive with people or mares. He is broke to ride, but we have not really spent much time with him under saddle yet. We pasture breed our mares, so he is very social and well mannered around mares. Though he is wonderful boy, he is still a stallion, so we are always alert to subtle changes in him when we are handling him. Danny Boy seems to be quite the comedian as well. He never passes up an opportunity to squirt me with the hose or drag the feeders to the other end of his pasture right before feeding time!
