The Dog
Sol is a shepard cross that I found at the local livestock auction. We figure she was abused pretty bad because it took a long time for her to even stand up on her own. Now, years later, she is doing beautifully and is continuously amazing us with her intelligence. She knows how to sit, stay, lay down, roll over, play dead, and crawl! She is a wonderful companion and a rather intimidating watch dog when it comes right down to it. She even rescued her buddy Lady from a ferocious coyote attack!

The Goats
We also have two goats here, Buddy & Nermal. Both are large mixed breeds. Nermal has had two sets of triplets for us but we chose not to breed her again because of her age. Now that she has found a wonderful (and neutered) boyfriend, she is quite content. Check back for some pics of the goats soon!
